Almost there...
Hello there!
I just started learning Scribus as a layout tool, in order to present Beneath as I see it in my mind, in all its glory. ^^
I'm going to add some sections, such as an example of a full Combat, a table of contents etc., but I'm getting quite happy with Beneath, as it stands as a game!
- The intro is now shorter and, I think, more suggestive.
- The "Playing the game" section has been expanded, with instructions and rules brought in from elsewhere in the booklet. For example, the Sequence of Play is now front and center together with setup and the Turn Track.
- The "Example of Play" has been corrected, with changes to Life and Grit now factored in.
- The Fey Foe Type now has "Unravel" instead of the "Thief" Ability, which was duplicated from the Wretch Type for a more unique identity. This should present a threat to players hoarding Fate (let me know how it works out if you encounter one... :) ).
- Clarified that some Hero values are set to 0 after surviving a Delve.
- Moved handling Prisoners to Trials, making the Camp section more open, and giving the player more space to record Heroes and Missing Heroes.
- Modified Weekly Events to be... harsher...
- Oaths are now sworn at Random, and limit how much Favor is gained from the Church.
I've seen that a couple of you have donated, and I am so happy and humbled! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
